Matchaful Uji Latte-Grade Matcha is USDA certified organic and comes from a direct-trade partnership with a 7th-generation tea farmer located in Uji—a city within Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. This organic matcha is made from tea leaves of the first and third flush. It is a blend of the Okumidori, Samidori, Yabukita, and Komakage cultivars. Our Uji Matcha is always ground-to-order for maximum freshness. The city of Uji is renowned for its green tea. In fact, Kyoto Prefecture is believed to be the original site of tea cultivation in Japan. RecipeStep 1: SiftSift 2.5g of matcha into a mug or whisking bowl. Add 2oz of 180°F water.
Step 2: WhiskUse a bamboo whisk to briskly whisk matcha in a Z-like pattern until the perfect amount of foam is created on top.
Step 3: ServeHot: Add another 10oz of hot water and/or milk, and serve!Iced: Add ice, water, and/or milk to a glass then add the whisked matcha on top, stir, and serve
